Brahms - Five Secular Songs for Four TrombonesThe Brahms Five Secular Songs arranged for four trombones by James Bates are taken from Opus 62 (1874) and Opus 93 (1884), both written for four part mixed chorus. Each one of these songs is a gem, with No. 4 Fahr wohl! (Farewell) being distinguished by having been performed at Brahmss funeral. Every measure of each song is rich in harmony and emotion making these a joy to perform and listen to. They are playable by moderately advanced performers.
