2022 Clos la Coutale Cahors, Southwest France (375 ml)Cahors the birthplace of Cot (Malbec), known as the black wine of the Southwest the deeply inky and earthy wines, is still celebrated by the Bernde family that founded this domaine before the French Revolution. Philippe Bernde, continues the family tradition farming sixty hectares of land along the alluvial terraces of the Lot Valley. The blend consists of 80% Malbec and 20% Merlot from 25 years old vines.
