A large Near Eastern Terracotta Vessel, Achaemenid Period, ca. 550 -330 BCEa vibrant burnished red orange globular bowl with wide neck and flared shallow rim, the vessel sits atop a flat base and curves upward, areas of the body are blackened from firing. Sackler Collections," #46 Condition: Minor mineral deposits throughout the porous ceramic, some small chips to the body that do not detract, vessel is otherwise intact and in excellent condition
