2024 Triennes, Rosé, MéditerranéeThis was a joint venture set up by two of Burgundys finest producers: Dujac and Domaine de la Romane Conti, to produce a marvellous Mditerrane ros. The blend is mainly Cinsault, with some Grenache, Syrah and Merlot. This is a crisp, refreshing wine, which offers up aromas of fresh strawberries, vanilla and acacia.

There is more than minerality here

This small premier cru lies just below grand cru Chapelle Chambertin

The climate here is cooler than elsewhere in the region

It has a very defined and ridiculously long finish

the grape juice before fermentation was so fragrant that the vat room was already full of the smell of blackberries and raspberries

and was selected for its Grassy & Herbaceous style

along with its beautiful and silky tannins
