Zoetrope - A Life of Crime LPA thrash metal band from Chicago (Illinois), Zoetrope was formed in 1976 around Barry Stern (vocals, drums), Kevin Michael Rasofsky (guitar), and Calvin Humphrey (bass), soon joined by a second guitarist, Ken Black. The first single was released in 1980. Following several demos, the group was signed by Combat Records and recorded their first LP, Amnesty, in 1985.
